More About Renting at Cardinal State Storage

Renting at any of our three Cardinal State Storage locations takes about five minutes online. Pick a unit size above, sign the rental agreement electronically, pay, and you'll receive your gate code immediately — pull straight in the same day.

We see a typical Caldwell County mix of customers: Lenoir and Hudson households moving in or out, downsizing, or holding furniture during renovations; contractors and tradespeople using larger units as contractor garage and flex space outside their primary location; small businesses storing inventory, seasonal merchandise, or job-site materials; Blowing Rock and High Country second-home owners storing boats, RVs, jet skis, and lake gear off-mountain for the off-season; and customers along the US-321 corridor commuting between Lenoir, Hudson, Granite Falls, and Hickory.

All three Cardinal locations offer drive-up units with gate access 7 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week. We require a disc lock — any quality disc lock from Lowe's, Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Walmart, or Tractor Supply ($15-$20). No security deposit, no long-term contract, month-to-month with a 30-day move-out notice. Locally owned — (828) 754-1981 for Lenoir locations, (828) 728-7744 for Hudson.
